MADISON - Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser is on track to lead challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg by about 7,300 votes after all counties finish verifying the ballots cast in last week's election a margin that would be difficult to overcome even with a statewide recount.

Difficult to overcome? I thought the election was over?
anybody know what would be the situation without the 7,300 votes not reported to media on election night?
It’s still not over, no winner has been officially declared and the budget repair bill is still in the courts. Things are really ugly in WI.
And arent’ the Milwaukee County ballots still in a warehouse on the northwest side somewhere? (Like, what could possible go wrong there?)
Heard Milw. County will certify votes tomorrow...
The liberal view is that this election was stolen.
It’s laughable in a way, that the Democrat declared victory on election night with a 204 vote margin. She and good Democrats felt that the election was solid with that margin. But when the additional votes came in from Brookfield, pushing the Republican 7000+ votes ahead, then the liberal view became that it was a close election, and investigations into counting procedures were needed, and complete recounts were needed, yadda yadda yadda.
With a Democrat winning an election, a 200+ vote margin is solid. With a Republican winning an election, a 7000+ vote margin instigates recounts, investigations, and even the hint of legal action.
The liberal view of things can be strange sometimes.
The Wisconsin Democrats are waiting for a shipment of hanging chads from their Florida comrades, who saved them for such an occasion.
The AP author showing where his sympathies lie. Is 7300 votes not enough for kloppenburger to concede, given that she urged Prosser to concede when she was ahead a mere hundred or two votes?
And, last I checked, the AP county-by-county tallies STILL had kloppenburgler with that narrow "lead".
It would be very close if the Brookfield votes were not counted but that is moot, they voted in Brookfield but the results were not reported to the AP. Their votes still count even though the AP didn’t have them.
Either they're debating on whether to pull a massive vote fraud, or they want to block certification until the Dem legal team decides what sort of lawsuit to file.
Alternately, they may be talking Judge Sumi into ordering that the vote may not be certified until she's had a year or two to study it.
The election is over ONLY when Democrats WIN;
otherwise, it just keeps going. going & going!!
We need to learn this and ADJUST!!!
Prosser is ahead without the Brookfield votes. There were other “flips” picked up in the canvass that put him ahead by about 200 votes (Winnebago Co.?)
But, never mind. The Brookfield votes were real votes and nobody has questioned their authenticity.
Above all, the 7,000+ net votes for Prosser from Waukesha are provably legitimate. But you won't hear this from the Demolosers.
Still waiting for those votes that are in-transit from Chicago....?
So far, without the official counts of three counties (Milwaukee included) and not including the 7,300+ net votes for Prosser, Kloppenberg has gained just over 100 votes more than her initial 204 vote "victory." So far, unofficial counts in Milwaukee give her an additional net gain of 566. So, without the Brookfield votes and taking the preliminary numbers from the 3 remaining counties, Klopp would be in the lead.
Whatever happened to Walker’s request to the Supreme Court last week to disregard Sumi’s order?
