Now seriously folks, liberals are so much more adept at garnering sympathy in a budget battle than conservatives, it’s not even funny. The conservatives say, the people have spoken, we are going to reduce the budget. Immediately the liberals seize the initiative and declare this is a war against female reproductive rights. It’s unbelievable because they get away with it.
It’s like the Iraqi insurgent whose buddies got blasted by a drone and they are immediately bemoaning the innocent slaughter of a wedding party. The democrats have perfected the baby formula factory defense. And the media is their compliant mouthpiece.
Politically in such an environment, conservatives can’t win. It’s like expecting a rationale debate and settled solution to come out of the interactions of proper gentlemen and zombies.
