Former pro football star Lawrence Taylor, who pleaded guilty in January to sexual misconduct and patronizing an underage prostitute, was declared a low-risk sex offender on Tuesday.
The girl was 16 — under the age of consent — when she met Taylor. He said she claimed she was 19.

That guy doesn’t have to worry about Big Bubba, because he IS Big Bubba. Imagine him accosting you in your cell with a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of pruno, and amorous intentions.
OXYMORON: “low risk” / “sex offender”
Most offenders are caught 1 out of 10 times. This wasn’t his first dalliance with an underage girl.
Does he still have to go door to door and tell all his neighbors he’s a perv?
Its not like he was trolling around middle schools carrying Justin Beiber CD’s to lure girls into his car. He rented a prostitute, who happened to be younger than she said she was. I wouldn’t be suprised if many pimps won’t deal with underage girls because of the way higher penalty. he may have dallied with prostitutes many times before, but I see no reason to think he sought out one that was underage. This whole scarlet letter-esque “sex offender” label has got way out of hand.
Other than being an adulterer and a John, I don’t think he is a sex offender at all.
Just a scumbag.
