If the rest of the field doesn’t have the hickory, and show it soon, at least in the safe space created by Trump, he’s only going to garner more of the attention and support. But expect the GOP establishment to still push for Romney in circumlocutions that basically come back to that he’s a Republican that the Democrats could like, of all things.
