Maybe not most, but a lot are. You should have seen people defending his history of bankruptcy as a business plan and using eminent domain to seize property for his own use (such as taking family businesses for parking lots for his casino). A LOT of people are drinking his kool-aid.
While you are correct on thse that support him the fact is they are republican socialists or liberal-tarians.
