FLASHBACK: Obama Wins First State Senate Election Because of Legally Ineligible Opponents
Chicago Tribune

Posted on 04/11/2011 3:37:54 PM PDT by TigerClaws

The Chicago Board of Election Commissioners had previously sustained an objection to the nominating petitions of Lynch because of insufficient valid signatures, and subsequently sustained objections to the nominating petitions of Askia—who was left with only 688 valid signatures on his nominating petitions, 69 short of the required 757 valid signatures after almost two-thirds of the 1,899 signatures on his nominating petitions were found to be invalid, and Ewell—who was left with only 671 valid signatures on his nominating petitions, 86 short of the required 757 valid signatures after almost half of the 1,286 signatures on his nominating petitions were found to be invalid.[28][32] Lynch and Ewell, in separate federal lawsuits, unsuccessfully sued the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners seeking to reverse its decision to remove their names from the ballot.[28][33]

Primary and general elections In the March 19, 1996 primary election, Obama, running unopposed on the ballot, received 16,279 votes in winning the Democratic nomination for state Senator for the 13th District.

Ineligible

That word now has a pleasant ring to it. Would it be ironic if the first thing that brought Obozo to public office was the very thing that took him out?

In 08 socialist presidential candidate Roger Calero sued over the fact that he was disqualified in some states but not others.

The fact is Calero shouldn’t have been allowed on any ballot because he isn’t even a citizen. He’s previously deported resident alien.

Barry must eventually understand the meaning of “the United States of America” and “We the People”.

Those are foreign to his makeup.

Obama, Inc is not the friend of other Democrats. The Dems should have figured that out a very, very long time ago and stopped the cartel when they had the chance. The Dems either have to go with the Obama plan or get out of the way. There is no middle ground. There are a lot of former Congressmen who might still be in office if they had understood and acted. Obama, Inc owns the Dems now and the old network will be replaced completely and thoroughly by whomever Obama,Inc feels is more in line...and there will be no place for the old guard. It's not just the GOP that Obama Inc wants to destroy.

Sounds to me like, if someone was able to infiltrate the ballot petition organizations of their opponents, they could wipe them off the ballot just before the election.

>>Obama, Inc is not the friend of other Democrats.

Very true. The Democrat primary was chosen by the DEMOCRAT RULES AND BYLAWS committee, not the people.

That's interesting. I wasn't aware of him in 1996, but I was amazed that when he ran for U.S. Senate in 2004, his opponents in both the Primary and General Elections self-destructed, allowing him to win without the scrutiny a candidate normally receives.

So, it appears that he has never actually had to run a real campaign before running for the Presidency in 2008.

So he happened to run unopposed for State Senate and happen to see his Republican opponent shamed out of the U.S. Senate race. This guy has fantastic "luck" doesn't he?

All of the "signatures" on Øbozo's petitions were stamps like this:
