Well I am a Yank and I love sweet tea. Tried grits but wasn’t all that impressed.
Of course you didn’t like grits. You forgot to add the shrimp.
Well, when you fry your bacon[with a little butter and onions] or sausage, save a bit of that grease for the grits.
I use about a Tbsp for my grits since I’m the only one who eats them. Once the water comes to a boil, add it in and then add your grits. Once the grits are done, mix in a bit of your favorite cheese and YUM!
