*** Schadenfreude Alert ***
HAHAHAHAHA
Welcome to Wisconsin. We’re open for business!
Just a note that Fat Wallet was previously in Rockton IL, a few miles from the stateline, so this move has virtually no negative impact on their business, as similar moves would likely have for those located further away.
Gov. Quinn and his ILL cabal of Rats will lose more tax revenues than anticipated. Have your business killed in IL or move.
A no brainer!
It is also clear he’s an online retailer. So it doesn’t really matter where he moves to unless he makes his own product and like needs a huge warehouse or factory.
Crazy free marketers. Doin’ stuff in their own interests and whatnot.
Watching the video just warmed my heart so much. I love to see the libs take it right on the chin!
I wonder who else will jump ship?
The measure impacts about 9,500 companies in Illinois, which leads the U.S. with the most affiliate marketers.
Remember how then-NY gov Paterson rejoiced when Rush Limbaugh moved from NY at his latest tax hike? Boy, did he show Rush a lesson!
These jerks will NEVER get it. Think about how many poor children were fed by the NYS/NYC taxes confiscated from Rush.
I’m shocked! /s
Tim Storm, “I am John Galt.”
Unfortunately, Quinn asked for a meeting with CEO Oberhelman and he folded. Oberhelman announced Cat would stay in IL and he'd work with Quinn on some Bravo Sierra “competitiveness council”. Needless to say, Oberhelman has not yet had his “John Galt” moment and still seeks to appease the looters and parasites.
I truly hope the rumors are true that Boeing corporate headquarters (Chicago), State Farm Insurance headquarters (Bloomington) and John Deere (Moline) are rumored as looking to move. That would blow a huge hole in Quinn's plans.
I hope a lot of other major and middle size and small companies vote with their feet and make a really big stink about WHY they are going. Too many business types think you have to buy off these political thugs with nice words and appeasement. No, carry the fight to them and tell the public in no uncertain terms why people in this state are losing their jobs and their careers. It's the TAXING, SPENDING, and the UNIONS, stupid!
