Actually, we want a shut down. Believe it or not, we KNOW extreme measures are needed.....did you listen when we said NO to obamacare? Did you listen when we said NO to the stimulus? You see, we know you need to be put down, hard and wet. Get over it. We will get what we want, even if it has to be one election at a time till you are gone.

I'm with you.....my idea of shutdown is the permanent elimination of 1/3 of the 150,000+ federal agencies, departments, spending programs that provide non-essential services.

Complete elimination of taxpayer funds for Nat'l Endowment for the Arts, NPR, PBS, ACORN, Organizing America, Peace Corps, foreign aide (other than those countries w/ strategic military bases or natural resources, etc.

Repeal of the CRA, ZeewoeCare, farm subsidies especially ethanol - just crop insurance, no child left behind - that's states' responsibility, and countless others.

Implement a 2/3 budget cut in the Dept. of Agriculture, the EPA, Dept. of Education (just enough to monitor national student performance - no handouts), DHS, end the wars in the Muzzie Lands - pull our troops & equipment out, open the Gulf and fed land to resource recovery....just to name a few.

A constituitonal balanced budget amendment would be nice w/ stipulations that the goobermint cannot grow faster than the private sector.

The goobermint can create needed jobs w/ more certified fraud investigators for SS, Medicare, Medicare would help along with repeal of hiring minorities to meet self-imposed quotas - just hire the best qualified to be more efficient and save money.
