Both of my children were born while I was serving overseas on Active Duty. Both have a birth certificate issued by the US State Department. This birth certificate is headed “Report of the Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America.”
Are you saying that my children are not natural born citizens?

Ironically, when I turned 18 and registered for the draft, I had all of my paperwork and the person down at the registry stated I was eligible for the British Military Service. It seems I had a “dual” citizenship. The person said it was uncommon but that I was eligible for both countries. The law changed around 1956 but I was born before then.
