“No one is “drunk”, but are you trying to tell me nobody is feeling any sort of intoxication at all? Nobody’s BAC levels have increased?”

Well like me you have probably had a drink or two, and also been drunk?

There is a difference, yes? It is a matter of extent. In small amounts alcohol can have little to no effect, or even be good for you. Even if you use it regularly.

I can’t say “Having a drink or two is bad” and be honest. Nor can I honestly say, “Being drunk is fine.”

But I can honestly say: “Virtually everyone who smokes pot smokes until they are seriously high.” And: “Regular pot use renders you stupider, less rational, more paranoid, and pretty much worthless.” Those are true statements, in my experience.

Small amounts of alcohol can definitely have an effect. It’s all dependent on tolerance and body weight. And even a BAC of 0.04, which can be achieved by having a couple of beers in an hour, can have effects as slight as they are.

Yes, I’ve been hammered and have also had a couple of drinks. The difference is massive. That doesn’t mean that there is no intoxication at all with having a couple drinks.

The health benefits of a couple drinks a day is exaggerated and unclear. Certainly not to a point that justifies drinking.

You can say anything you want, it does not make it true. Not everyone smokes pot until they are seriously high. And it doesn’t render everyone “stupider.”
