A few years ago I enjoyed an art deco exhibit at the Boston Museum of Art and learned that it caught like wildfire when it first appeared, going worldwide in less than a year.

The exhibit had magnificent pieces I could only dream of having. It also made its way to practical household products like radios and toasters and lamps.

This is the 1950 Truetone Boomerang.
