WONDERFUL!
I didn't know that George Washington said that! Settles the meaning of the 2nd Amendment, right?

Late morning Bump for Bucks! Home of $4.21/gallon gas. I wonder if the cashier would have taken cans of salmon instead of cash?

Yikes! That’s CA for ya and obama. Of course the LSM has a plethora of excuses for obama, but they always blamed Bush.

I love the smell of burning Bakelite.
Great find on the Truetone Boomerang! Very interesting restoration experience, too. I remember those tubes.
I wonder how much they're worth these days.

I don’t know, but I do find the architecture, furnishings and fashions of that time to be fascinating. Some of us were discussing the old Corelle dinnerware not too long ago.

I got rid of my heavy plates years ago .. just LOVE Corelle and grab items I can use whenever I can get someone to take me to thrift shops, etc. to find them. They're lightweight and easy to lift and grab a few from the top cabinet, microwaveable, a breeze to clean and VERY durable .. just about indestructible. I have been known to mix them. My current style
They have some gorgeous patterns now .. I drool over the Shadow Iris pattern.

I “flipped” one washing it. It shattered and pieces went everywhere when it hit the floor. I’m so talented. :-)
