I have a question - how come the government isn’t shut down right now? IF the CR hasn’t been voted on, then there is no deal in place to continue funding.

Or is it all just more games to fool the American public?

Thank you. I didn't understand until reading this piece that the agreement reached last night has not actually been voted on and signed into law. What gives?

There's a special "bridge funding" trigger which can be used for 3 days to get us to next week's vote.
