That is because the McCain camp did not like Palin.
She was used to get the base. McCain wanted Joe Liebermann.
McCain hates Palin and all real American Conservative. McCain is at least a Democrat and is more like a far Left Liberal.
Seriously, if Obama would have offered McCain the VP spot, he would have taken it.
McCain was one of Obama’s biggest defenders/supporters.
