"soulless" "like a snake's", "sharklike"....That's how the eyes of career criminals come to look. I think that is likely what the photo viewers are picking up on...Something in the eye, or something that's NOT there.

Unfortunately evil people are often drawn to good people - - to take advantage of them. I'm sure if this study were reversed - and criminals were asked to identify the people they consider to be a 'soft touch' or an 'easy mark' that they would be equally up to the task...
