THE HAGUE (AFP) – A shooting in a shopping mall in the western Netherlands Saturday left "several" people dead and a number wounded, local authorities said.
Witnesses quoted by Dutch radio said a man had opened fire on shoppers with an automatic weapon in Alphen aan den Rijn, causing mass panic, before killing himself.

I’d just like to point out, as a public service to criminals: automatic weapons are NOT banned in the United States. So, criminals might find themselves under fire from one. Y’all criminals be careful, ya hear? Heh, heh, heh.

According to those posting from the area, the shooter has been identified as Tristan van der Vlis, 25 white male, living with parents #Netherlands.
Wish there was a way to convince these guys to kill themselves first.
I think the exact same thing every time something like this happens. I have the suspicion that they want to go out with as much negative attention as they can get and, as awful as it seems to those of us in our right minds, I suppose that means killing and injuring as many innocents as possible. I wonder if this fool was in anyway inspired to commit this act because of what took place yesterday in Brazil.
