When I read “news” I like just the facts ma’am myself. I read news for knowledge not pretty. I didn’t go to the article but I never thought about how these excerpts were written. He got his point across.
I think he wrote it like he would have said it...and it reads like a letter from an ordinary person, with the exception of that insult which was wicked good!
