iIts a great slam at Collins but, wow, what a horribly-written letter.
10th grade level, maybe.

Most people, who have well written works, have used editors to make their point. Either that, or they’ve taken hours to write what they want to say.
Odds are, Trump mashed this letter out within 15 minutes of having read her column.

Maybe he was tailoring his letter in a way that his selected audience (the readers of the NY Times) would understand.

He uses dashes instead of ellipses, semicolons, or periods, which I believe would be correct in the proper context. But rather than ending a sentence with “thereto”, I think it is grammatically correct, albeit, not to a standard in which to slander O GREAT ONE!

Come on guys. Trump is a self made American Capitalist Icon, and the only one out there kicking Obama & Rats pseudo intellectual asses - and you are worrying about his intellectual level! This is war. Trump is the toughest bad ass out their, and he is fighting for us. Jump on Romney for gosh sakes, but get out of Trump's way.
To: South40
I fail to see how this is a “horribly-written” letter.
To: South40
Unfortunately, it had to be kept simple for most present day Americans to understand it.
As the operator of “the Apprentice”, Donald Trump understands this.
