Why are you “pretty sure that there has never been a case of rabies transmitted to a human from a squirrel”? Do you documentation?

Because I have lived in the country all of my life and make it a matter of safety to know the creatures that I may have to interact with.

Do a google search on squirrels with rabies and you will find that he is indeed correct............

Squirrels are rodents. Rodents don’t carry rabies. It would be very rare for a squirrel to be rabid. Now skunks are another story.
