How does your garden grow?
I’ve been out turning dirt and hauling sod this morning (and most of the week) . Onions and strawberries are thriving and potatoe vines broke the surface this week too. Red and Pinto beans are sowed as are the cow peas with only Dragon beans left to sow. I’ve started digging trenches for the corn and the peppers (which are starting to sprout indoors). My tulips are blooming in a riot of red and orange and I saw my first yellow Daffadil bloom this morning too. My Pear tree is blooming like crazy promising another bumper crop and one of the new peach treea has pretty pink blooms although I fear the other one has gone to peach tree heaven. My Robbins are feasting on fat earth worms and singing sweet songs as I dig and it’s almost time to mow the grass.
