From the Denny Laine era, long before he joined Wings. These Moodies were totally different from the Moodies led by Justin Hayward. I think Ray Thomas was the only continuity between the two versions of the Moody Blues.

The song is actually a waltz. Who was recording waltzes in the Sixties?

The biggest flaw is the poor engineering. Somebody had his pots turned up so high he was pinning the VU meter all the way into the red.
