"If I were Walker, I wouldn't be saying everything is just dandy and people love me."

And so, the AssPress has decided how things should be in Wisconsin.

All AP had to do was check FR on election night. Many Freepers said there was something odd about the vote totals for Waukesha Co. They were too low.

Yet Prosser's lead, if it holds, does not amount to a clear public endorsement of the governor's policy.

Isn't that funny. When it looked like Prosser was going to be defeated, the AP told us it was a strong repudiation of Walker's policies. What does the guy have to do to win?

Why shouldn’t Prosser’s lead hold? If they can recount Frankin’s votes a thousand times to make him win; they should be able to let Prosser’s votes which are honest votes stand.

It shows the MSM still has an awful lot of power to swing an election if they can find an opening to do so. And the imbroglio in Madison gave them that opening. Walker was almost universally portrayed as the bad guy trying to take away “rights”. I mean, they foia’d Walker’s emails just to see what percentage favored his policy. How often did they do something like that to Doyle? And they dug long and deep and hard to come up with that DUI idiot Walker appointed to the $81,000 job -which was incredibly stupid on his part. Amazingly, though, that’s all they could find. But it didn’t matter. They harped on the story like his whole admin was corrupt. Yeah, we have Fox and bloggers, but when the MSM decides to destroy someone, they have a lot of ammunition to use. Of course, the fact Prosser actually (so far)won, is in itself amazing. Sadly, the MSM isn’t going to offer him kudos for surviving their onslaught.

Any time you can beat the Dems, Commies, and other thugs without taking up arms, it is a good thing.

Hahahaaa..! Spin doesn’t get any lamer than this.
The Democrat scum threw everything but the kitchen sink at Prosser and Walker and still got their sorry asses handed to them. All that union money, flushed down the toilet forever... It makes me smile and laugh.

Walker now knows that the civilized public has his back.

The outcome also improves the odds that Walker's collective bargaining law would survive a legal challenge before the high court. Yet Prosser's lead, if it holds, does not amount to a clear public endorsement of the governor's policy.

This is not journalism. This is editorialism.

WTF with the AssPress, anyways?

And the close contest could help ensure Walker's opponents stay energized for the next round.

Complete bunk. The Leftists' loss has thoroughly demoralized them. And, what's more, it should make them seriously rethink their recall efforts. I've read an analysis where they could likely realize a net loss of 2 Senators if all the recall efforts go to a vote. Now that would be the end of their delusions for quite a while.

Everyone here needs to sign up at the sfgate website and dump a load of truth on their comments section, just for fun. It gets the fire ants stirred up something fierce every time I do it.

She is just another case of a girl who grew up spending every Friday night at home... alone, wanting revenge by STICKING IT to the rest of us because it is, somehow, our fault.

I rest my case.

* I'm betting her girlfriend dumped her.

It doesn't matter what the Prosser victory says about the governors popularity.

What matters is that now the Dems have a much harder time using the courts to stop the Republican agenda. As such, this is a strategic victory.

Let the AP say what they will - it was a win for our side and I don’t think they can overcome the margin and stay believable. Time for Walker and other states to clean up the way elections are run and do it NOW! Obama and his Union goons are going to pull out all the stops in 2012. Once Obama is in his second term we can expect card check, the Fairness Doctrine and who knows what else. Once he has no fear of going down in the history books as a one-term loser President, he will be out in full force to ram his agenda down the throats of this nation by any means possible. He has already demonstrated complete contempt for the way government is run and will use every dirty trick in the book while our complacent press continues to cheer him on.

Sure AP let’s just ignore the fact that the national unions pushed very hard...3 million dollars plus thousands of “volunteer” man hours...the national DNC was involved...even that dip shi& Micheal Moore and Jesse Jackson were involved and they could not get a win. They were predicting a slaughter against the Republicans...oh well AP, you just keep lying for your liberal philosophy...we like you better that way. You are easy to hate.

The conservative "didn't win by the margin everyone expected him to win by"

Really? With all the money and resources the lefties had working for them there was an expected margin of victory for Prosser? Were there polls predicting a comfortable win for him? Or is the professor spinning? The Left was definitely revved up for this one. I wasn't sure if the passion was there on our side and worried about the turnout.

My faith has been restored.

I have liberal relatives in WI who were certain that Prosser was going to get shellacked, that most of the Republican Senators will be recalled, and that Walker is in for a rude awakening next year when he gets recalled.

I can only assume they weren't paying attention in November. And hope that the good folks who put Gov. Walker, Rep. Ryan, and Sen. Johnson in office keep up the good work.

He didn't lose, but the slim margin means he didn't win big, either

Libtards poured everything they had into beating him and failed - I'd call that a pretty big win.
