Supreme Court justice David Prosser has picked up more than 7,381 votes in Waukesha County, a conservative county outside of Milwaukee, as part of the statewide canvass following the election for Supreme Court on Tuesday. The total gives Prosser a comfortable lead as the canvass continues Friday.
The error came when Waukesha County clerk Kathy Nickolaus failed to save some 14,000 votes that came from wards in Brookfield before passing the vote total along to the Associated Press. County officials discovered the mistake Wednesday and shared the information with state election officials on Thursday. Prosser won Waukesha County with more than 70 percent of the vote there.
Wisconsin sources say that the paper trail on the votes will be obvious and difficult for anyone to dispute. Either votes from Brookfield were counted in the initial tally or they werent. Still, the discovery of the extra votes is sure to stoke the embers of the heated battles that have taken place across the state over the past two months, particularly because Nickolaus, the woman at the center of the controversy, is a Republican activist. A posting on the website of the Republican Women of Waukesha County indicates that Kathy Nickolaus recently served as president of that group.
But several sources have pointed to questions about her competence in the past. In August, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that her superiors ordered an audit of the county clerk's election equipment and system beginning with the September primary despite several memos she sent to the committee over the weekend defending her practices and resisting the move.
Perhaps, just once, the Republicans played the game. The dems were knocking out 200 votes, now they need 7000. I can hope old FRiend.
Democrat money, guns and lawyers may not be enough to cover this. But you can be sure they will try.
I suspect the dhimmicrats will now find 20,000 additional votes before the April 15 deadline counties have to finalize their canvassing.
This ‘error’ was discovered and corrected. It makes one wonder how many similar ‘errors’ weren’t and never will be.
FWIW, I think the ‘Rats will let this election go because they won’t want anyone looking into their ballot fraud techniques.
I think we need to get rid of announcing unofficial results, and just have one announcement with the final tally once the State makes it official. Then it would be impossible to determine how many votes need to be manufactured.
WOOO-HOOO!!!!! Levin just announced this!!!
Great news!
Democrat union thugs will be whining.
It would be pretty easy to verify whether this is cheating or just incompetence: There was a media report of the results in Brookfield (with Prosser winning by 7K). There should be precinct-by-precinct results from the election in that county. It would be easy to verify whether the original AP/county count squares with the precinct results.
And once we lose faith in the ballot box, the blood will flow in the streets.

Ha, no way will the Dems be able to make up such a big deficit that way!
Now... I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some rogue state activist circuit judge somehow tries to prevent these 7,000+ votes from be counted for Prosser. Don’t ask me how they’ll try to pull off such a stunt, but corrupt leftists always seem to find a way.
There’s a lot of bad reporting going on, but I think it’s 7000+ net votes. Prosser votes minus Klopp votes = 7000+. But I could be wrong.
This isn’t over by a long shot.
Milwaukee Jounal-Sentinal has this now too.

If this works out and puts him over the top, then the Repubs dodged a .50 cal bullet.
Regardless, the FIRST order of business on Monday needs to be a comprehensive Voter ID bill.
“Then it would be impossible to determine how many votes need to be manufactured”
Which is exactly why Dems would never agree to this sensible idea.
This woman should lose her job over this. We can’t have any doubts in the minds of the citizenry that the GOP was responsible for any shenanigans.
The best way to do that is to fire her for incompetence.
