Well now, the one-time Marxist revolutionary turned community organizer and former loyal parishioner to the charismatic Jeremiah Wright has now announced that he will seek a second term as president. What a complete surprise that was! The sad and pathetic part of this story is that he may well pull this off .. and if he does the damage that he can do to our republic in his last four years could be fatal. No I'm serious here. No hyperbole. This dangerous man meant it when he said that he was going to "fundamentally transform" the United States of America, and some of you are going to find out way, way too late just what type of transformation he was talking about.
So just where will his support be coming from? Why does he essentially start this campaign with an edge? Who comprises the base Obama will build upon for an election majority in 2012. That's why I'm here to answer that question. Here, my friends, is a good start for a list of the core Obama voters for 2012:
Now I know, I know for each one of these categories someone can call and say "but not allllll of _________ are like that!" OK, fine. These are generalizations, but they are accurate generalizations. They hold true for the vast majority of members of the various groups listed below. So let's start out by setting the stage for The Talkmaster being called a "racist" (as if that really bothered him).
Yeah. Let's start there. No sense in waiting to stir the puddin'. Over 90 % of black voters will cast a reflexive that means no real thought involved vote for Obama. In past elections it was somewhat hard to explain why black voters would give such undying support to the very political party whose policies essentially destroyed black family structure in this country. This time is different. This time there will be no difficulty explaining the vote. Most black voters will vote for Obama for no other reason than he is black. That will be the beginning and the end of the thought process. He's black, and whatever the consequences, I must support him for president. Sure many blacks will think this through and give consideration to such things as their children's future and economic opportunity. They shall be called "Toms." Black voters are exponentially more likely to vote for a candidate because of skin color than are white voters. Someday we may actually get past this "That candidate is black, so he gets my vote" thing .. but certainly not in this election. So let the idiotic calls of "racism" begin. Like I care.
Union members won't vote for Obama in percentages approaching those of black voters, but you can be certain that when union dollars end up in a presidential campaign about 96 cents out of every dollar will go to Obama. When it comes to government employee unions and when you're talking unions that would be about all that is left the majority will vote for Obama. Why? Because Obama is their clear ally in their war against the American taxpayer. The taxpayers are tired of government employee unions negotiating with the very people they put in elective office with their huge campaign contributions and election-day help. The taxpayers want a seat at the negotiating table . The union goons want the taxpayers to just sit back, shut up and pay the tab, and they know that Obama is on their side.
Well actually I should dedicate this section to women in general, but I'm picking on single mothers because in the last midterm elections the Democrats did not carry the women's vote for the first time in decades. They didn't carry the women's vote .. but they carried the single mother's vote by a large margin. Now when I use the term "single mother" I'm not referring to widowed or divorced mothers. We're referring to women who have children without the benefit of marriage and a father in the household. I think I've used the term "welfare brood mares" in the past. These women are highly dependent on government to care for them and the children they cannot afford to raise, and they can be pretty much counted on as Obama voters. For the single mother crowd the government has taken place of the husband the father absent in the household. Not only are their spawn responsible for a disproportionate share of the violent crime Americans have to deal with every day, their mothers will be responsible for a huge part of Obama's vote total.
But let's spread the conversation on women past the "single mother" category to women in general. It's pretty safe to say that the Democrats will carry the female vote in the next election; not by the margin they carry the single-mother vote, but a majority nonetheless. To understand why just take a look at a 2010 study conducted by Lake Research Partners for the Center for Community change. I'll just give you some bullet points:
Do I have to spell this out for you any further? I think the case can be made that if you had to choose a party of opportunity, that would be the Republicans; and if you had to choose the party of government-provided security, that would be the Democrats. Apparently they can't really help it; that's just the way women are sociologically wired. In general they'll go for whoever is offering the most security. Let the men-folk get out there and hunt down the mastodons and saber-toothed tigers. Just make sure the campfire stays lit and the rock is rolled in front of the cave before you guys leave. (Crikey, am I going to catch hell for this one!)
Oh come on now. This isn't hard to figure out. Obama believes that America's greatness comes from American government. The private sector has been described by Obama as "the enemy." Government employment has virtually exploded since The Community Organizer was crowned. Government employees now earn more than their counterparts in similar jobs in the private sector .. with greater job security to boot. Government employees fear that government their benefactor will be whittled down to a manageable size if evil Republicans manage to worm their way into more control in Washington. For a government employee voting for President Hopey-Changey is merely a matter of survival.
Now let's see: You're a teacher in a government school and there's a big election coming up. If you vote for the Republicans there is a strong likelihood that you are going to face competition for students with the private sector. Republicans will almost certainly expand school choice; perhaps even institute voucher systems in several areas. As schools compete for students teachers who don't perform are going to find their jobs in jeopardy. Additionally, the Republicans know that the teachers unions are the most powerful unions in the nation and give nearly 100 percent of their financial support to Democrats. A Republican in office might mean a weakening of union protections for teachers which could (gasp!) mean that incompetent teachers might end up losing their jobs! Sure .. there are exceptions, but for the most part government school teachers are in the bag for The Community Organizer.
Blame this one on the Republicans. Give the GOP a little power in Washington and they just can't help themselves .. they'll try to get into women's pants as soon as they can. No .. not that! Get your mind out of the gutter. The Republicans can absolutely be counted on to try to exert control over the reproductive functions of America's women. One of the reasons the Republicans were successful in the midterms was because they left this abortion nonsense and their social conservatism out of the mix. They just couldn't leave it alone though .. and they're back at it again. Women don't like it and women particularly don't like the fact that the vast majority of the anti-choice zealots out there are men men who will never have to face that difficult decision themselves. These women will hold their noses and vote for Obama. The Republicans just aren't smart enough to butt out of people's lives in this regard.
So there you go. That's pretty much it. As the election gets underway and the levels of support are counted, the Democrats can tally up the majority share of black voters, school teachers, single women, union members, government employees, and women who want the government to butt out of their private lives .. see where that leaves them, and then promise enough government spending and wealth redistribution to the rest in order to gain their majority.
The question is how many Americans who appreciate freedom and economic liberty, and want to see the size, cost and intrusiveness of government decreased, will actually become involved in this process. If it's not enough, the future looks grim.
Crack-heads, Welfare Queens and the Terminally Stupid.
Right?
We who pay the bills outnumber these. Boortz is flawed in his reasoning as always. I remember his prediction of President Al Gore well.
Blacks who vote for zero just because he is black are racist.
“The parasites who were hoping for a bigger chunk of plunder stolen by the government from their hard working fellow citizens have been satisfied beyond their wildest dreams. “
I beg to differ. They see nothing in their pocketbook.
“Women who want the government to stay out of their womb.”
IOW, “women who want the unfettered opportunity to kill their unborn babies” will vote for zero.
Problem is that Boortz is part of the Obama Problem
Boortz attacks Birthers and provides cover for Obama on the Eligibility issue
Do we really want to listen to the analysis if a talk-radio person who attacks people that have legitimate questions regarding Obama’s eligibility?
Boortz forgot to include a category on himself and the anti-Birthers aiding and abetting Obama
you left out the terminally lazy.
And yet he won the last time, so presumably some of those who pay the bills voted for him.
He won last time with Christian and moderate cross-over votes which he longer has. End of Story!
For anyone who has lost access to health care due to job loss and/or increasing prices *nothing else matters*.
the whole constitutional issue of *requiring* folks to buy coverage is just a smokescreen, when that gets tossed out the only alternatives are to either “let people without jobs die from lack of healthcare” or institute a system like England or Canada.
I know folks without health insurance; it trumps everything. Better to have no job and even crummy healthcare than a crummy job and no healthcare.
True conservative ideologues can disagree but while everyone, even on the left knows we're spending way too much, and anyone to the right of Code Pink knows we *have* to stay in Iraq because we simply can't let the Chinese, Russians or the Caliphate control the second largest oil supply in the world (or one of the largest), I think there is a sense even amongst ‘moderates’ that access to at least emergency and rudimentary preventative healthcare is like roads and national defense, simply something that any supposedly civilized first world nation provides to it's citizens. Just because the implementations have proven untenable in England doesn't mean that we in America couldn't make it work.
Note: this is more my *sense* of an underlying zeitgeist than my opinion of what we should do; but conservatives ignore it at our risk.
I know just two people who voted for Hussein and both are suffering buyer’s remorse.
Yes, they’re both a bit wacky.
I’m surprised that Boortz is straying from his 3-part taxonomy that actually is quite useful - there are (i) moochers, (ii) looters and (iii) producers. Obama is trying to make sure that there are enough moochers and looters to get to 270 electoral votes and screw us producers.
There are two types of women who vote for Obama.
Those women who believe (as he does) that their sexual promiscuity should not be punished with giving birth to a child..
AND..those women who believe tax-payers should support any and all the children they produce through anonymous or multiple sperm donorship.
p.s. quite a lot of sperm donors with no sense of authorship or responsibility vote accordingly.
I generally don’t like to waste my time responding to the smug close minded. Have a great evening “End of Story”
Of course they are, and you think that they won't vote for him because of it?
PO dupek!
Opps!
Sorry!
N.B. forgot to mention the 0bama Zombies, the idealistic college kids that thought he was cool and eat up the social media aspect of his campaign.
In my Daughter's college Econ class today they showed “Sicko” and according to her, virtually all the students were fawning all over the film. She had to walk out because she couldn't sit there without jumping up and ripping apart both the movie and Mr. Moore.
