Like the story of J Edgar Hoover having a party while dressed in drag. The guy making the claim had no evidence, just said it happened, and the reporter ran with it. Now everyone thinks this. I don’t care how much the left hated J Edgar, there’s NO way that there were dozens of people at a party, and NOBODY thought to ever mention it to anyone else. As far as Tolson/Hoover being all but married, I don’t know. It does look strange though. Abe Lincoln? No.
