Never forget that they must be willing to enforce any legislation via government force. In other words, they must be willing to shoot you for drinking sugary drinks.
Naa, you'll be shot for "resisting arrest" or "trying to escape".
Kinda reminds you of the Democrat mayor who was driving home late one evening after a Party function at which he had consumed too much "adult" beverage. On a dark road he hit two Republicans walking home from a Tea Party meeting.
One man went through the windshield of the Democrat's car and ended up in the back seat. The other was knocked down the road about 75 feet.
The Democratic sheriff shows up, says "Howdy, Mr. Mayor!"
The mayor moans "Oh this is terrible!"
The sheriff looks at the one in the back seat and tells the deputy, "Send this one to the morgue"!
The mayor moans even louder, "He's dead? Oh no, I'm going to prison!"
Sheriff says, "Well, he says he's not, but you know how those Tea Party folks lie!" We will just charge him with "Breaking & Entering".
The mayor asks, "What about the one down the road?"
Sheriff says, Don't work about home, either. We'll charge him with "Leaving the Scene of an Accident." He'll get a few years for that. Oh, and thank you Mr. mayor for that generous donation you've just made to the Sheriff's Benevolence Fund!"
Because we make our own neither my husband nor I have to worry about embarrassing our daughter if we forget to leave our cigarettes in the car when we attend a function at her school.
When she was in elementary school, sodas were forbidden but not for any of the reasons in this article..........they just didn’t want the mess that occurs with shaken cans, intentional or otherwise :)
We warned them, didn’t we? They chose to ignore the warnings at their own peril.
