So when was it destroyed? Before or after Obama was elected?

According to the story, 1997. Which would be shortly after he was elected to the Illinois State Senate.

So the implication is that 11 years ago he was prepping for the presidency by having FBI records destroyed? Pretty thin if you ask me.
