Hotair ^ | April 6,2011 | Ed Morrissey

Update (AP): Good lord. With just 10 precincts still left to report, Kloppenburg now leads by 140 votes — 738,368 to 738,228. Of the 10 remaining precincts, eight are in counties where Kloppenburg currently leads. Gulp.

If you’re holding your breath waiting for the recount to start, exhale now. It’ll be a long, long time coming. Update (AP): Just five precincts to go now and Kloppenburg’s lead has opened to not quite 500 votes.

Trouble is, that depends on an honest law enforcement apparatus and an honest judicial system. Where do you go when the police are criminals?

You are right, of course. I guess we need a Star Chamber to try, convict and execute the offenders. They should start disappearing, or meet with "accidents"...

When we do eventually get control again, we have to clean house; theirs and ours!

You clearly mis-read my post. I never suggested throwing in the towel. I said only that I am not optimistic that this election will turn Prosser’s way while I remain optimistic that the conservatives will win long term.

Are you optimistic for Prosser? Cuz I don’t think many folks posting over the last few hours are. I am not alone, fella.

I didn’t miss your point at all. I disagree with you, that’s all.

You think this is just a result of cheating on a few hundred, maybe few thousand, I’ll even give you tens-of-thousands of votes.

That still makes roughly 700,000 people who voted FOR the leftists and roughly 3 million who couldn’t even be bothered to vote.

Sorry. Even wholesale theft cannot pardon the pathetic showing of 750,000 votes for Prosser out of about 4.5 MILLION voters.

Fact is, it appears 3 out of 5 voting age people in Wisconsin either actively WANT the nanny state, and/or couldn’t care less one-way-or-the-other.

That was not what I was talking about. If you take a candy bar you are a thief.

If you take a candy bar you are a thief.

Ok. Now you've lost me.

What's the candy bar and who's the thief? Is there a fkitty decoder ring?

Meanwhile....perhaps you can address my point. Where the hell were the 3 million slackers who didn't show up? Whose side are they on?

Why don’t you just crawl back in your hole in the ground? I haven’t lost you at all. You want to argue.

If it’s stolen, as it almost certainly would be in a race this close, no they wouldn’t.

I'm just thinking it will take something almost all of us are loathe to do - leave our jobs (for a few days at least), and take it to the streets. Look at what the 'Rats did in WI - the took it right into the chambers of the legislators and made their case. And I think this election result may reflect the fruits of that.

Look at what it took to stop the fraud in FL in 2000. People actually got up and went down to the election offices and literally pounded on doors to be allowed in to oversee a fair election process. Yes, they were demonized in the press as a "mob" (funny how our people are always a "mob", never theirs), but that is what we have to expect.

I'll be honest with you. I'm as loathe as anyone to go to the street. It's just not naturally in us. We're taught to work an honest day's work, take care of our families, and play by the rules. But those virtues are used against us now, increasingly so, in election after election. I just don't know where to go anymore. The courts won't help, they aren't there to administer justice, at least when it comes to enforcing our rights against liberal cheating. We know the political/election system is crooked. The police won't help, not when you've got people like Holder and Reno running things. We can't take it to elections if we know every time we make it a close fight we're going to lose to election fraud. That's why the one idiot judge in Washington state got my goat so badly when he said, in effect, that it was too bad Rossi and the 'Pubs got cheated in the election, but the only way to correct a crooked election was to have another (crooked) election.

How can I argue with you? You make indecipherable analogies about candy bars and then berate anyone who doesn’t get it.

Sorry.
