Jury Duty is supposed to be a responsibility of the citizenry. Many look on it as punishment and something to be avoided. Should someone who doesn’t want jury duty be selected? I’ve always wanted to serve on a jury! I’ve only been called once but the trial I was selected to jury was not started that day so I was free to go.
I think some folks are pre black listed....I can’t prove it but I know I’ve never been called ever while i know others in my large community have been called multiple times. Other folks I’ve talked to seem to have never been called.
