“There is no comparison”

Of course there is. The comparison is that in each bill the federal government is given carte blanche authority over the production and distribution of all food production in the United States. This detail is the thread which binds all of the bills.

No, she was not being accused of supporting the SB bill. I clearly stated that. As a matter of fact, in my initial post and I had asked our fellow Freeper if they could provide me with a link. I also stated that I sighted the wrong bill, and told you I’d provide a link, which you responded to by saying that you’d wait for the source.

As I stated previously, I read all the bills. The contamination angle is a weak one at that. The states should be granted autonomy and authority to pass legislation concerning food production and distribution, not the federal government.

The real question here is whether or not you believe government authority at the federal level should trump states rights. If you hold to this position, you have no claim in describing yourself as a true Conservative.

Furthermore, you expose a lack of integrity when you failed to apologize for falsely accusing someone of smearing Michele Bachmann.

I am not going to apologize because the bill she voted on was a response to all the food contamination being imported in to the US at the time.

I don’t have a problem with that.

The House bill was used by the Senate to create SB 510 because the Senate can not make a bill that appropriates funds. It has to come out of the House. That does not mean Michele was for SB 510 that was the creation of the Senate democrats.

Pick on Lamar Alexander and Dick Lugar, they voted for this monstrosity.
