I can barely read articles like this. My twin girls almost died when they were 6 weeks old. One of them has a bad brain injury from the illness.
The thing is the injury looks like she would be terribly disabled. In reality, at 14 she gets A’s and B’s at a top private school. She is very strong in math. She does have speech and some memory and coordination problems. However, she manages just fine. She looks normal. She will go to college. She’s also very, very, very sweet. She has huge faith in God, and that He has a plan for her.
God made all of these people, and they have to be treated with respect and dignity.

Either way - this is unfortunately old practice. The devaluing of human life is a signpost to the end of a society. So is increased sexual immorality.
I agree. We must fight. It still breaks my heart that someone would even murder an otherwise healthy infant that was considered not “up to par” (by whose standards?) It’s going on in America right now with the elderly.
I worked with a woman whose father had had a stroke. He was in a nursing home on a feeding tube. Her mother decided she didn’t want to take care of him anymore and had food and water removed from him. He couldn’t walk, but was in other wise fairly good physical condition.
It took about two weeks before he succumbed. He would be screaming for someone to give him some water. And his pleading was ignored. No one did anything to stop what amounts to murder, including the woman I worked with.
I met the woman after all of this had happened, probably 8 years ago now. It affected her deeply. I couldn’t understand why she didn’t do anything to stop it. She said there was nothing she could do. Her mother had all the power. She often wondered what she was going to do when her mother was in the same position. When the time came, she could not be that cruel and allowed her mother to die a peaceful, natural death.
Political dissidents would make the list eventually;
you know that’s their goal.
Many of us were telling anyone that would listen in 73, that Abortion was going to led to a culture of death. We have reaped the whirlwind.
