I've never seen more pitiful hand-wringing in my life.

The writer's assertion is also contradicted by various polls which show Obama to be vulnerable against almost ANY GOP candidate.

It may very well be that the electorate will remain as stupid as it was in 2008. Hey, if it happens, it happens, and we're that much closer to civil war in this country.

But hysterical, panicked fear-mongering such as this serves no constructive purpose that I can see.

“It may very well be that the electorate will remain as stupid as it was in 2008.”

I maintain that the “stupidity” is in actuality, a fundamental, possibly permanent change in the perspective of Americans, specifically the demographic with the only chance of saving America; white Christians.

A disastrous change toward entitlement thinking.

That said, the ONLY way we will know and the sole chance we have of resurrecting our Republic is to run the most conservative candidates possible.

A clear illustration of rock-ribbed conservatism MUST be exhibited and exercised to educate the dangerously satisfied and somnambulent populace.
