No one at the Federal level really cares beyond playing politics. They're like a bunch of rats living in the walls and taking your cash to chew up and make themselves nests with. They all have inflation adjustments built into their pay to cushion inflation and you can't fire them when they're not needed. They're insulated from what the rest of us deal with and it's our money they insulate with.

Call me a stickler, but I don’t think this is inflation. The price rises we are seeing are the result of shifts in the supply curve of various commodities, not the devaluation of currency.
