Why would your congressman approach the Interior Department when the USFS is in the Dept of Ag?
My Bad..should have made it clearer.
They were holding meetings on mines and etc and he asked why they cant be self sustaining and the head stated that.
He is also working on the legislation per the USFS since both mining and logging involve our district.
