He also has the responsibility to understand that his right has resulted in death and put our troops in danger, and he should be held responsible for that.

Held responsible in what way?

The muzzies riot and kill over a cartoon, should those who draw cartoons be held responsible? What should the punishment be for drawing a cartoon that causes a muslim to loose control?

What some people seem to be forgetting here is the issue of personal responsibility on the part of muslims who decide to kill people because of a news report.

The preacher would be responsible if he were affecting inanimate objects or non-human creatures without free will. If he burned a quran in a dry forest, one could hold him responsible for the resulting fire that destroyed a billion dollars worth of suburban property nearby. If he burned a quran under the beard of a lion, one could hold him responsible for getting the animal enraged enough to maul anyone it encountered in its rampage.

Muslims are not dry brush or lions. They are human beings with free will and the moral responsibility that attaches to it.

For comparison, consider the rapist argument: she asked for it, dressing like that; she chose her clothes foolishly; she provoked me; she should have stayed home, shut up, covered up. I’m not to blame! She is!

He should be held responsible by not being defended and coddled by people who ought to know better.

He knowingly put our troops in further danger by his "Look at ME!" behavior. He knowingly made our troops' work more difficult in a dangerous situation among dangerous people.

I didn't say he should be punished, but he should be castigated by anyone who supports the work of our troops in Afghanistan, and not praised. In that way, he should be held responsible for his reckless behavior.

No one is arguing that Islamofascists are not evil people who do evil things whether or not there is a 'cause.' But that doesn't excuse an American citizen who, as I said, knowingly puts our troops who are fighting this evil, in danger.

There is no excuse for this moronic pseudo-preacher's actions.
