I agree with your post.
Gen Petraeus was far too diplomatic and too late in his comments. He should have publicly asked this “Pastor” early on if he is with us or against us? Or is he (like the Westboro Church) just seeking his 15 minutes of fame at the expense of the US mission and to make the job more dangerous and difficult for US servicemen and women?
That's exactly what he's doing. He's a Fred Phelps wannabe with the right to be a creepy attention seeker, but is fully responsible for behavior that endangers our troops.
What amazes me is how many freepers jump on the General for trying to protect his troops and defend this utter moron and his irresponsible behavior.
