A little too personal. But bombing Dresden, Tokyo, etc, was OK.

At some point, we have to come to grips with how we are going to deal with this totalitarian ideology. Continually excusing actions like what occurred in the story under discussion is not the right answer, is the conclusion many have come to.

We didn't have troops in Germany and Japan assisting their governments to deal with insurgents.

At some point, we have to come to grips with how we are going to deal with this totalitarian ideology. Continually excusing actions like what occurred in the story under discussion is not the right answer, is the conclusion many have come to.

I am not excusing anyone's actions. There are 27 suspects being held. The question is what should our response be. In this instance, a UN staff office was attacked despite Afghan police attempts to stop it. I don't agree with wiping the village out in retribution for the actions of a mob.
