Maine GOP Gov. Paul LePage followed through with his decision to remove a mural depicting the history of the workers' movement from the state's labor department lobby, a spokeswoman said Monday.
"The mural has been removed and is in storage awaiting relocation to a more appropriate venue," said LePage press secretary Adrienne Bennett in a prepared statement. "We understand that not everyone agrees with this decision, but the Maine Department of Labor has to be focused on the job at hand."

The 36-foot-long, 11-panel mural has been put in storage while "a more appropriate venue" is found for it.
Doesn’t Maine have a commie headquarters where they can hang commie art?
It would have been better if he had his National Guard blast it with a 155mm Howitzer, but I suppose removing it will do.
...Nice to see something being removed besides a Christmas tree or a crucifix for a change!
Cool.
Hmmmm, am I starting to see ‘dominoes falling’?!? YES!!!! :-)

How about the nearest public restroom?
Where is the photo from?
It’s just plain ugly — no matter the subject matter.
Yeah really - the mural does have that surreal, drab commie-comic-book look to it. It's like commie artists go to the same secret commie art school to create this stuff.

I have noticed that Democrats tend to slur words. Instead of saying social security they say socshecurity. So it makes sense that the Democrat pronuncation of pro-union mural would be pro-uniurinal.
Red China
A fire pit is the proper venue for communist tripe.
Perfect - that is the first thing that occurred to me - commie propaganda.
The people in that mural are overwhelmingly white.
The Workers' Movement? My, how proletariat sounding. Someone please pass the Borscht.
Maine has really taken a turn for the better. It is amazing what happens when real conservatives run in the NE. Maine not only elected Le Page but voted to reject Gay Marriage. I thought conservatives couldn’t win in the NE? The truth is the GOP establishment there doesn’t want us to even try.
Glad our Governor says what he means and means what he says.
Socialist Realism might be the name of the style of art?
In the middle painting, there’s a more realistic pic, of someone who had something to do with getting the painting made and paid for. Can’t remember the name.
