Geert said he didn’t understand why the left embraces the one thing that would destroy them. The article states he’s a Christian. Very simply, this is Good vs Evil. Nothing less and nothing more. The left is blinded by God. They are against any control on their impulses, which of all religions, Christianity is the clearest of the reason for control and also the clearest of the results for not doing so. This isn’t a battle of islam against Christianity, it’s a battle of atheism against Christianity. The left are the ones letting muslims and illegals into our Western countries. They’ll kill themselves in the end but if they wipe out Christianity they’ll tell you it was worth it.

When he knows why the Federal government leaves our borders open to terrorists while it frisks grannies at the airport, he’ll know the answer.

I think you’re on to something here. I would rephrase it this way if I were giving my opinion: “It’s a battle of atheistic Communism using whatever means it finds coming to hand, including trainable Muslims and useful idiots in the West, against what of our culture is left of Christianity which is called ‘Christendom’”.
Behind that and motivating and guiding it is the 6000-year old-rebellion of Satan and Adamic man against God.
