I’ve been to Dodger stadium before, a lot of gang members go to the game because the tickets are cheap. I’d bet good money that these suspects turn out to be gang members.
I don’t think the tickets are any cheaper there than other venues. And beer is definitely more expensive than Angel Stadium.
Someone familiar with LA/OC/IE called the Padres station today. The caller was someone who works at the courts. He said that over the last 5 years, whenever a latino gangbanger is brought into court in shackles, you see a Dodger tatoo visible somewhere on him.
It is his impression that the Dodgers have been adopted by the gangs much like the Raiders used to be. The stands and the parking lot are filled with gang members, it’s no longer a safe or family friendly environment.
