My personal belief regarding this and any matter twisted by the Left is this. People just need to learn how to think critically. Unfortunately thanks to decades of Leftist education, that ability has been programmed out of most people under 40-50 AKA most of the population.
If we can get people to realize that they look really foolish simply subscribing to the herd mentality and take personal pride in thinking for themselves, the battle wins itself.
In fact, I’m 100 or so pages into writing a book on that very topic ;)

Good luck with that! The public schools are turning out kids who can barely read and do simple arithmetic. Critical thinking is not on the agenda. After all, how would the Marxists have a population of useful idiots if they actually educated the children.
