One in five mothers in America have children with different fathers, a new study shows.
Researchers found that the trend was higher in minority groups and mothers with low income and education backgrounds.
The data was taken over a 27-year period from nearly 4,000 U.S. women who had been interviewed more than 20 times.
The study's author Cassandra Dorius said of the one in five figure: 'To put it in perspective, this is similar to the number of American adults with a college degree.
It's pervasive.'

I have had a question that remains unanswered for a long time.
A lot of the minority mothers get welfare by going into the welfare office and claiming that “they dont know who the father is”
Is this going to be a problem in the future if one of these kids tries to run for President and cant prove he/she was born to 2 (american parents) if they dont know who the father is?

Hello. I am one of them. My first marriage lasted many years and we had one child. Sometimes young marriages don’t make it. It’s not the worst thing in the world. There is a huge difference between a divorce and hooking up with tons of baby daddies.

Not buying that assertion. In the US the abortion rate for married women is 8 per 1000, which simply doesn't square with your 40% so you either misunderstood or misremembered your factoid.
I am the Father of 5 with one Mother. My wife of 26 years Our parents were each married 3 times and had children from 3 different pairs.
There is no doubt whatsoever that doing everything imaginable to keep a marrige together is more stable and safe for the children.
But, no-one can judge your situation from the outside. Had I not met and married the love of my life? There are many different ways life could have played out for my wife and I.

I agree. Not only do I think Prince Harry is not Charles’s son I also think that Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, is not his biological child. His oldest daughter, Beatrice, looks like him and has the Windsor “horsey” features(buck teeth and buggy eyes) whereas Eugenie has softer features. I also don’t think that she looks like him. She resembles Fergie so much that it throws people off-—they don’t focus on her not resembling Andrew. Plus, we all know that Fergie was unfaithful to Andrew and didn’t take her vows seriously. Just my opinion.

On a somewhat related note, the spouse of one of my wife’s co-workers is an IRS special agent, carries a firearm. She has some interesting stories about how people in the black community pass kids around on paper as tax deductions, race each other to file first using a kid’s SSN in the return to take the child deduction / use the child to get a better EITC, etc.

I think white guys got the message; now they won’t have children even when they’re married, as they have no confidence they won’t just end up maintaining an ex-wife, the children they barely get to see, and some new guy in their former home. In fact, they’ve learned so well they won’t even get married anymore.

This was supposed to be stopped (though some really don’t know who the daddy is); when whites go for welfare they name the daddy, and his pay is docked for the assistance and such (as I understand it). The most effective way of dealing with the urban black situation was to simply stop increasing payments for additional children; while the “leaders” complained about the assumptions this policy made, the black birthrate plummeted and Hispanics passed them as the largest minority group 10 years earlier than anticipated. With their growth, I’d imagine no politician wants to address their “bastard” problem, which resembles the urban black experience from twenty years ago. They start young and single, with no expectation that a W-2 will ever be issued to anyone in the extended family for generations to come.
This is a sore subject with me. My daughter has two children different fathers. One pays child support one does not. She is now pregnant with her 5th. She had a miscarriage and her daughter died in utero last year. She is not on welfare and works to support her family.
She sees nothing wrong with this. Oh, I just adore my grandkids.
I wonder if they would count me. We adopted 3 babies and they all had different dads.
Not to pry, but do you see anything wrong with this? This sounds like a bad situation that has just gotten worse.
