Bachmann raised $1.7 million for her congressional committee, and another $500,000 for her leadership PAC, Bachmann adviser Andy Parrish said.

Tammy Bruce reports Bachmann’s aides have been seen with Romney’s aides in SC. Bachmann is in a difficult re-election fight for her congressional seat. She may be looking to deal with the GOP machine to preserve her career. It still strikes me as odd that Bachmann remained silent during the Tucson blood libel.
Gas prices have doubled in two years.
Home prices in the dumper...no new home starts.
People are far worse off today than they were before this mug was elected.
And I think they realize that it ain’t gettin’ any better with him in there.
The democrat union thugs have awakened people as well.
Baloney.
Romney is not liked in SC or any southern state.
Bachmann is an actual conservative and will do very well in SC.
Tammy Bruce is full of something...
The democrat union thugs have awakened people as well.
Excellent point! Thanks for bringing that to mind. Most people see the union thugs as selfish pigs...at their expense.
Not sure the Republican nominee should be Michele Bachmann ,
But I’m damned sure it should NOT be Mitt, Newt, Huckabee, or any other old gas bag RINO.
Independent voters like that she is a tax attorney for the fair tax.
Agreed. Polls are showing at this juncture that Trump can beat Obama and The Donald is rolling pro life now. Like it or not Trump can get the union vote and Obama can keep his corrupt SEIU. Obama has a very little base remaining. I don’t think his chances are near as good as polls are reflecting. He lost the independents no matter what he does and Trump could Trump the union votes and NY and Ca.
So it is an open primary but Trump/Bachmann, Trump/Palin
would work. I just wish West would run.
Bachmann and Palin are the real deal. Romney is the slick teflonistic phoney baloney heir to the Obama disloyal throne!
“Michele Bachmann tops Mitt Romney in fundraising”
That is good to see but given the mountain of cash that man is sitting on, she is going to have to keep it up over the long haul if she wants to have a chance.
“Why they cant see it I dont know.”
They are the enema within.
I hear ya, it would be 1996 for me.
“I might actually vote for a Republican for president for the first time since 1992 if she was the candidate.”
So you voted for Clinton, Gore, and Kerry???????
Maybe you’re one of those guys that vote for that libertarian Texas Representative....you know, the one with the Nancy Pelosi eyes......LOLOLOLOL
How’s that voting tactic working for ya?
“Thats the kind of leader we need in this crisis. I might actually vote for a Republican for president for the first time since 1992 if she was the candidate.”
I agree. It’s nice to be able to vote for a candidate and feel good about it. I’ve held my nose with candiates like Jorge Bush, Bob Dole, Juan McCain, etc. At some point, you just can’t hold back the nausea.
Bachman would be a welcome change, someone to be excited about.
>She may be looking to deal with the GOP machine to preserve her career.
Critical logic skills are lacking here.
IF Bachmann is dealing with Mitt it would be to get his backing and for him to step aside and unite solidly behind her.
Of the two, It is not Bachmann who is fighting to preserve her political career, it is Mitt. - who after all, holds no office whatsoever and was soundly defeated by one of the biggest losers in American political history...
The better question is, how did voting for Dole, Bush and McCain work out for you? Bush Jr. was the most socialist/Democrat president in history, practically speaking, until Obama surpassed him, for example.
You will never head north by voting for candidates who promise to keep heading south, just at a slightly slower speed than their Democrat rival. I voted Constitution Party in these past elections, because voting Republican was just such a wasted vote whether the Republican won or lost, as Bush's record so eloquently proved.
Palin/West 2012. Give MB a great positin. She's one of the only ones working today. FAR too many bums.
Being a pessimistic about the American people and their lack of knowledge of political matters, I think the nomination is already Romney’s. This “next-in-line” mentality has plagued us since 1968.
Yes, I know, and I surely wish I had cast a symbolic vote for Pat Buchanan in 2000, who got one-half of 1 percent. You can vote Constitution Party again in 2012 against Romney, and I would like to join you. But I’ll probably again succumb to the “sky-is-falling” mentality among our Republican voters who are sure to nominate the UT-MI-MA candidate. And I agree with you that GWB was practically the commander-in-chgief of the Obama campaign. Even Laura, a former McGovernite, “hinted” that she voted for Obama.
