You said it all. I don’t want the government telling me what bulb, toilet, soap, washing machine, etc. to use. I pay for it and I should be able to make my own choices. Period.

Add to that the fact that we’re forced to “buy” cable TV channels that we’d neverr watch in a million years. Not sure if that’s a state or fed decree... a public utility commission? Whatever it is, if a TV station can’t survive without being crammed down people’s throats, it doesn’t deserve to exist at all.
