“The Problem Solver called Jack Walsh, survey supervisor with the American Community Survey’s Chicago regional office. Walsh said the survey is required by law and helps determine such things as the Consumer Price Index and how federal funding is allocated.”
Liar. So what’s the CPI or federal funding got to do with asking questions regarding health and what time you leave for work?
And “scoop” lets them escape this question.

Strip down buck naked, walk around, cough and wheeze and scratch everywhereand insist they sit down. And ask repeatedly why the gov't hasn't cured (put favorite communicative VD here) And offer coffee, cookies etc. And after you have relieved that itch, be sure to touch him/her like a good friend, shake hands shoulders etc. After all they can't charge you for indecency, public nudity in the privacy of your own home!!!

A well-filled shoulder holster when answering the door works for me...

Of late the US Census Bureau has been knocking on our door and sending threatening letters if we do not complete their survey. We are told that we will be fined if we do not complete the MANDATORY survey, that our defiance will be reported to the Justice Department. They site Title 13, Section 141, 193 and 212 of the 2010 Decennial Census. I site the Constitution and Bill of Right. They picked the wrong guy to start telling me what I need to divulge to them about my personal matters. It is now bordering on harassment.
Anyone else targeted?

“she kept ringing the doorbell and tapping on the window.” “
Call the police and have her arrested for trespassing and harassment.

I was selected for the in depth household survey. They wanted to see all of my bills and bank statements I think that was a scam to get your bank info.
The only survey I can find called "in depth household survey" was done on primitive tribes in New Guinea (Ok, and a few other third world countries).

I invited her in, let her sit on the couch, offered coffee...and then screwed
