The FED was doing exactly what it was supposed to do in it's role as lender of the last resort during a banking liquidity crisis. Yes, it "was doing exactly what it was supposed to do;" that is bailing out African (read Gaddafi) banks and other foreign banks behind our backs, with no checks, balances or any input whatsoever.
We all know that this is exactly why the U.S. Federal Reserve was created - NOW DON'T WE.
Didn't take long before a banksta apologist showed up.
