As a legal immigrant who is now a naturalized citizen—and proud of it—I often wonder why my parents and I had to wait, get a sponsor, and go through the normal channels to be able to live here(this was 1960), while others can come here illegally and be perceived as victims? WTH?

No other nation coddles illegal immigrants the way America does. Try illegally entering Mexico and see what happens. Btw if according to some, America is such an awful place, why is it then that so many are trying to get here?
