State officials have not stopped putting in place changes to collective bargaining rules for public employees despite a judge's order barring the law's implementation and a threat of sanctions against anyone who violates it.
Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch said Wednesday he has a legal obligation to implement all laws passed by the Legislature, signed by Gov. Scott Walker and published into law. Huebsch said the Department of Justice and his own legal counsel, a team of DOA attorneys, agree the measure has met those requirements "and is now effective law."
"It is my duty to administer that law," he said

Well isn’t this interesting...
This is too precious — Sumi is next probably going to try to find non-parties to the lawsuit in contempt of court. Surely this would make even the liberal side of the Wisconsin supremes laugh?
When will people learn that elections only have consequences when won by liberals and Democrats?
You’d think that she’d clue in the plaintiffs that they need to amend their lawsuit, instead of going stubbornly on like a blind mule.
Summary - F U little commi-dictator judge!! You’re not the boss of us. Take your corrupt judicial activist supreme power grab and shove it where the sun don’t shine! There are other branches of government that have power, far more representation that just one libtard hack, and more clout when push comes to shove!
She will send her army after the Republicans. The union goons have manned the barricades. The war has begun.
That's revolution.
Looks like everyone in Governance is not rewriting the law and rules...they’re all making them up as they go along.
Please pass the popcorn.
IIRC, the initial lawsuit hasn’t been amended to name anybody more than the Wis. SoS. Until it is, “Her Honor” is a court jester when she attempts to place an order stemming from that lawsuit upon anybody else. Also, until somebody affected by the law comes to the court and challenges its applicability to them, the court can’t enjoin the law either. Sumi just does not get to be empress.
Glad someone knows the legalities of this...they are certainly going to go to all measures to trip this up...which in itself tells me all the more reason to stay the course regardless of their measures used, better said abused.
Rather reminds me that if I have a great idea I just go ahead and do it in my work...and if anyone complains, I’ll apologize afterwords...but by then it’s too late to change the course, the idea’s in place or the deed is done. Mission accomplished.
I’m starting to think this is an earlier story, and that Walker is actually complying with the court order.
Old military saying: It’s easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.
Judge rules that Wisconsin's union law isn't in effect
This article was updated several hours ago...the article at the top of the thread is almost 24 hours old.
They are not the same thing. In Wisconsin the judge HAS NO POWER TO INTERFERE with the other branches. There were no constitutional wrongs. They did nothing wrong. In Obama’s case everything he and the Dems did was wrong, and unconstitutional. The US Constitution RESTRICTS GOVERNMENT NOT THE PEOPLE. To tell people they must do anything betrays the purpose of the Constitution and only a tyrant would suggest it. What do you want Liberty or Tyranny? Do you want to make your Own decisions or do you want some nameless bureaucrat to make them for you?
So the federal administration ignores a federal judge in Florida and we all cry “foul”. But when Wisconsin State ignores a county judge, we all cheer.
That’s common sense.
