Bob Dutton: Jerry Brown's wife 'yelled' at him
SacBee: Capitol Alert ^ | 3/31/11 | Torey Van Oot

Two days after Gov. Jerry Brown called off talks and suggested Republicans were obstructionist, Senate Republican leader Bob Dutton and his budget point man, Sen. Bob Huff, held a news conference today to explain their moves over the last week.

Dutton said first lady Anne Gust Brown "yelled" at him in one meeting with the governor last Wednesday over a lack of cooperation.

"Frankly, I was yelled at more than I was talked to," Dutton said, "and mostly by Mrs. Brown, not even Gov. Brown."

Brown press secretary Gil Duran blasted Dutton later.

"And the dog barked at him, too," Duran said. "Big girls don't cry. The real issue here is the fact that schoolchildren, the elderly and the poor are going to be crushed if these reckless Republicans don't get their act together and make a reasonable deal for the good of the people. Given the magnitude of the situation, we really don't have time for Bob Dutton's feelings."

“Brown press secretary Gil Duran blasted Dutton later”

Hey Gil, California would not be in this mess if it was not for the dimoKKKRAT spending spree that ran up the debt.

A liberal Democrat state house for what, over ten years spending their heads off and taxing like mad and it’s the Republican’s fault for the debt fiasco. Sure.

This is why democrats have to be defeated.

You give the democrats what they want and cave, they blame you later on for giving them what you warned them was going to bite them in the ass later.

You give them some because you compromise a little, they bitch about how you’re raping the poor and the world will end because you didn’t give them anything they wanted.

you give them hardly anything and you’re a mega hitler antichrist racist sexist homophobe.

These are people that have no shame, have no problems lying to people to their faces, and are totally implacable. They are never satisfied with anything. They just have no ability to act civil if they are not in total control.

We see what’s going on in Wisconsin as total evidence of this. After the voters kicked their asses out, finally.

I would have told them especially moonbeam’s wife to take a flying leap.

True - no title.

But both had/have way too much influence, for my liking.

The real issue here is the fact that schoolchildren, the elderly and the poor are going to be crushed if these reckless Republicans public employee unions don't get their act together and make a reasonable deal for the good of the people.

There, fixed it.

Reminiscent of Arnold.

What’s that saying - New boss, same as the old boss?

The pubs should be asking how many of the working people in this state get paid for the time it takes to walk from their car to their workplace, and why does JERRY think this is ok!

As long as there is ONE Republican in State Government, every calamity will be the Republicans fault. Bank on it.

Typical. The Democrats control the whole state but it is the Republicans fault. I wonder if the governor is allowed to speak around his wife.

FYI, Linda and the Governor were each other’s beards. Ms. Gust? No comment.
